A Recommendation

Carlos Ruiz Zafon is a Spanish author who usually writes for the adult market. Many parents may have read his SHADOW OF THE WIND, a hugely popular thiller about a boy who discovers a rare book, all copies of which are being burned by a strange, disfigured man. This one tells the story of a brother and sister who, fleeing WWII, take up residence in a haunted house on the coast of Spain. I don't know much more than that but the book comes highly recommended. It's definitely on my summer list. As you all know, I'm always looking for great YA books. Take a look at the book trailer -- it's one of the best I've seen.
